Description

Registration is only open to those who have applied and been accepted.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based, person-centered counseling method shown to help people make and sustain positive behavior changes in areas of life that include behavioral health, physical health, and social outcomes. It offers tools for service providers to engage community members in compassionate, respectful, and collaborative helping relationships, with benefits for community members and staff delivering services.

The MI Certificate Program is designed for organizations or teams within organizations who want to use MI to improve program services and outcomes. The Organizational Leaders Track is for organizational leaders (senior team members, directors, managers, or supervisors) who can support MI learning and practice in their organization or program. Leaders will receive up to 12 hours of training and expert consultation.
